About the Oracle
The Oracle of The Veiled Key is an artificial intelligence. It interprets the cards you draw through the writings of Éliphas Lévi, the nineteenth-century French occultist whose Dogme et rituel de la haute magie (1854–1856) is one of the foundations of the modern Tarot tradition.
Its knowledge comes from a compendium we built from Lévi's book, and every quotation from it has been checked word for word against the original. The Oracle is instructed to read only through Lévi, never through modern Tarot conventions.
You choose the cards yourself, from a shuffled deck the Oracle never sees in advance. The Oracle then puts into words what the cards and Lévi's teaching say about your question.
Its words are an invitation to reflect, not a verdict. Like any interpretation, and like any AI, it can be mistaken. You are always the one who decides.
